Raw sorting
In raw sorting, the wood is sorted mainly by dimension but also by quality before it is dried.
After sawing, the wood goes into raw sorting where dimension sorting takes place and to some extent quality sorting. Our raw sorting have 40 compartments. Investments are made regularly in raw sorting as well as in the rest of the industry to provide increased capacity and a better and safer working environment.
In 2013, for example, a completely new control system was installed in the raw sorting.
